The Practice
What your body is doing isn’t noise
It’s signal. We start by understanding what is happening, in mind and body, then decide together what would help.
Heather combines three ways of working, fitted to each person’s goals and pace
- Talking therapies
- Structured, evidence based therapies that look at thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and at the beliefs a difficult experience can leave behind.
CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT - Body based work
- Working slowly with the body’s first response to distress, so a hard experience can be processed without becoming overwhelming.
Deep Brain Reorienting - Measurement
- Real time feedback from the brain and the heart, built into a skill you can practise on your own.
Neurofeedback, HRV biofeedback
What the practice offers
Hargraves Psychology is a small practice in London, Ontario. The work here is careful and unhurried, whether someone is coming for therapy or for an assessment.
That means ongoing therapy with adults, in person or by secure video anywhere in the province, and psychological assessment, including independent assessment. Referral sources may write to the office directly.
Many extended health plans cover the work in whole or in part. Fees and cancellation terms are confirmed before a first appointment.
Heather’s caseload is full at present. Bryan is accepting new clients.
