Fees & Coverage

Psychological services are not covered by OHIP, but many extended health benefit plans include coverage for therapy with a psychologist. Coverage varies, so we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm the amount available under your plan and any requirements for reimbursement.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes.
The standard fee is $240.

Assessment

Assessment and report fees are quoted per referral.

Cancellation

Twenty-four hours’ notice is required to change or cancel an appointment.

Receipts

Receipts are issued for every session, and may be used to seek reimbursement through your insurance plan or to claim eligible psychological services as a medical expense on your income tax return.
